We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. For privacy questions or requests, contact sales@topalertsecurity.com.
Top Alert Security operates topalertsecurity.com and provides IT consulting, cloud, infrastructure, managed IT, cybersecurity, and governance, risk, and compliance services. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website and business inquiries.
For information we process on a client’s behalf, the client determines the purposes of processing and the applicable service agreement governs our role. If your request concerns a client’s systems or records, contact that organization first; we can help route your request.
When you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, role, service interests, and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond and discuss your needs. Providing inquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without contact details.
Website hosting, security, and website-service providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, referring pages, and timestamps as part of delivering and protecting the site. Cookies or similar technologies may support site functionality, authentication, and site measurement, depending on the features used.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive records through ordinary email or a general website inquiry. If a service requires sensitive information, contact us to arrange an appropriate method.
We use inquiry and business-contact information to answer questions, discuss services, prepare proposals, administer business relationships, and provide requested support. Technical information supports website operation, troubleshooting, security, and understanding how the site is used. We may also use relevant records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information may be handled by service providers supporting website hosting, communications, IT operations, and security where needed to perform those functions. Relevant information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, in response to a valid legal requirement, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy requirements. We may disclose information at your direction. These operational disclosures are distinct from selling information or sharing it for advertising.
You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect features such as sign-in or saved preferences. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily prevent all server logging or all collection by external services.
Our site is built on WordPress and uses website services supplied by third parties. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. If a page contains embedded third-party content, that provider may receive technical information when the content loads. Review the provider’s notice before interacting with it. This policy does not imply that visiting the site supplies consent for processing that requires separate consent.
We retain personal information for the period needed for the purposes described here, considering the nature of the inquiry, the duration of the business relationship, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or protect legal rights. Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Contact us for information about retention of records relating to you.
Security measures must be appropriate to the information and the risks involved. No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Avoid sending sensitive information through channels that have not been agreed for that purpose.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies, California residents may request access to information about collection, use, and disclosure; deletion; correction; and a portable copy where required. They may also opt out of sale or sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Applicable exceptions and verification requirements may apply. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable rights.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The information, sources, purposes, and recipient categories relevant to this website are described above. Contact us using the details below to make a request, including through an authorized agent. Global Privacy Control communicates an opt-out preference for sale or sharing; we do not engage in those activities.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, Top Alert Security is the controller for website inquiries and business-contact information it uses for its own purposes. Relevant legal bases may include taking requested steps before a contract, performing a contract with you, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating and protecting our business, balanced against your rights. Where consent is required, it must be obtained separately and may be withdrawn.
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and object to processing. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Information may be processed in the United States or other countries used by service providers. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is required; contact us for details relevant to your information. Read the European Commission’s GDPR guidance.
Depending on your residence and the law’s applicability, additional rights may arise under laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and other applicable state privacy laws. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sales, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Exceptions and eligibility requirements vary.
Use the contact information below to exercise a right. If a request is denied and applicable law provides an appeal, email us with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will review the appeal and provide the response and regulator complaint information required by that law. Official guidance is available from Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas.
Where relevant to the processing and jurisdiction, additional laws may include the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, and Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).
Depending on the applicable law, you may be entitled to information about processing, access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent, objection, or a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority. Consent, electronic-marketing, cookie, and international-transfer requirements depend on the activity and jurisdiction. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. Guidance is available from the UK Information Commissioner, Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and Brazil’s ANPD.
The laws described here are examples, not an exhaustive list. Their application depends on factors such as location, the information involved, the activity, and the parties’ legal roles. Nothing in this policy waives or limits rights or obligations under applicable law, or defines the full scope of services we may provide.
Client engagements may require additional privacy notices, contractual terms, data-processing agreements, or sector-specific safeguards. Those requirements are addressed for the relevant engagement. References to laws or standards in this policy do not represent blanket compliance certification or replace an assessment of a particular service.
Top Alert Security does not provide background checks or consumer reports. The Fair Credit Reporting Act governs consumer reporting and certain uses of reports for eligibility decisions, such as employment or credit. Ordinary website inquiries are not a consumer-reporting service. This policy does not authorize a background check or replace any separate disclosure, authorization, or notice required for an activity subject to FCRA. See the Federal Trade Commission’s FCRA overview.
This website does not accept payment-card payments. Do not send card numbers, security codes, or other payment credentials by email or through a general inquiry. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is an industry security standard for environments that store, process, or transmit payment-card data, or can affect its security; it is not a general privacy law. This policy makes no claim of PCI DSS certification or validation. See the PCI Security Standards Council’s PCI DSS overview.
Our website and services are intended for organizations and adult business contacts, not children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action under applicable law.
Email sales@topalertsecurity.com with the subject “Privacy request,” or call (213) 674-1184. Describe your request and your relationship with Top Alert Security. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange a suitable verification method.
We may need information to verify your identity or an agent’s authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or reason a request cannot be fulfilled. Rights depend on the law and circumstances; contacting us does not require you to waive any rights.
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a revised date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, that requirement applies.
